IT Infrastructure Service Manager Network and Datacenter(m/w/x)
Managing global network and datacenter services lifecycle for intelligent transport systems. Several years of IT service management experience, preferably in international, mid-sized business, required. 30 days vacation, 2-3 days remote work per week.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable field; alternatively, vocational IT training with relevant experience
- Several years of IT Service Management experience, preferably in international, mid-sized business
- Solid technical understanding of network and datacenter infrastructures
- Hands-on experience operating and managing infrastructure services
- Proven experience managing external service providers
- Proven experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL or comparable service management frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of incident, problem, and service level management
- Experience at the interface between IT and business functions
- Strong focus on service quality and user satisfaction
- Good understanding of service-related financials (budgeting, cost control, forecasting) is an advantage
- Structured and solution-oriented working style
- High level of ownership and accountability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate across different organizational levels
- Ability to collaborate in an international environment
- Business fluent English
- German language skills are a plus
Tasks
- Manage full lifecycle of Global Network and Datacenter services
- Serve as key contact for business stakeholders
- Deliver high user satisfaction
- Manage relationships with IT and service providers
- Handle incidents, problems, and escalations effectively
- Own service-related financials
- Budget, control costs, and forecast
- Ensure service availability, resilience, and continuity
- Monitor performance against SLAs
- Evaluate provider and local team performance
- Manage claims and lead service improvement
- Take hands-on approach to service operations
- Ensure effective service delivery and stability
- Define and align provider landscape and sourcing strategy
- Oversee execution of strategic objectives
- Coordinate service introduction and transition
- Support unit and integration testing
- Document processes and procedures
