HR Manager (Interim)(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 8–10+ years progressive HR experience, with 3–5 years in HR Management
- In-depth knowledge of German labor laws, employment practices, and HR trends
- Experience in Recruiting, Learning & Development (OKR), and Change Management
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
- Experience working in US corporate HQ and matrixed organization
- Experience building strong, trustworthy relationships with works councils
- Experience with Workday (HRIS)
- Very good organization, time management, and implementation skills
- Familiarity with fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Motivation to build a future-oriented, healthy HR landscape
Tasks
- Support Commerz Globalpay and other business units in Cologne and Frankfurt
- Provide hands-on HR support for talent build and strategic initiatives
- Partner with the GM and senior leadership team
- Ensure Germany's participation in HR transformation and OneGP philosophy
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations with regional and global support
- Drive HR function development in Germany
- Support entity growth with 30-40 new headcounts annually until 2028
- Collaborate with CEO and C-Level on HR matters
- Lead and mentor the HR team in Germany
- Support organizational goals and change management
- Work with external recruitment agencies and labor law agencies
- Attract top talent and support manager development
- Conduct talent reviews and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with German labor laws and regulations
- Handle employee relations matters
- Drive performance management and employee development
- Support line managers in managing poor performers
- Deliver change programs driven by business needs
- Maintain positive relationships with Works Councils
- Ensure monthly payroll processing
