Requirements

  • 3-5 years IT/related sales experience (infrastructure, software, services advantage)
  • Understanding of Data Center market technologies, trends, workloads (Cloud, Converged Systems, Analytics)
  • MS Office and sales CRM (MS Dynamics) knowledge
  • Use of interactive tools (chat, forums, E-Mail, monitoring, social media)
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set and self-starting capability
  • Can-do attitude and high self-motivation
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Fluent English language skills

Tasks

  • Establish relationships with new customers
  • Secure contracts for Data Center Solutions and Lenovo 360
  • Identify potential customers using direct and indirect methods
  • Develop mid- and long-term territory plans
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial engagement to closed sales
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria
  • Consult prospects on business challenges and solution options
  • Provide forecasts for best-case and most likely sales volumes
  • Cultivate relationships with third-party and partner companies
  • Collaborate with internal functions like technical sales, marketing, and delivery teams
  • Provide feedback on market trends and competitive threats
  • Identify opportunities to extend company offerings
