Customer Service Advisor EMEA(m/w/x)
Handling sales inquiries and order processing for research tools at a provider for Life Sciences and Clinical Diagnostics. Fluency in English and German, with ERP/CRM platform experience (D365/Salesforce) essential. Employee stock purchase plan, with cross-functional team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or technology-related field
- Experience in a customer-focused role
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German
- Strong IT skills; experience with ERP/CRM platforms; Microsoft D365 or Salesforce
- Customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
- Strong organizational, administration, and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, adaptable, and calm under pressure

Tasks
- Serve as the first point of contact for sales inquiries via phone, email, and live chat
- Process sales orders accurately through e-commerce, email, and telephone
- Raise customer quotations and proformas, and coordinate stock returns as needed
- Collaborate with Sales, Accounts, Technical Service, and Marketing teams for seamless service
- Respond to order queries and manage non-technical complaints with practical solutions
- Monitor backorders and keep customers updated on delivery status
- Manage new account processes and maintain accurate customer documentation
- Update the customer database and ensure all information is logged
- Follow up on orders to provide excellent after-sales service
- Develop foundational product knowledge to enhance customer interactions
- Work independently and collaboratively to uphold high customer service standards
- Support best practices, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the team
