Associate Strategy & Development / M&A(m/w/x)
Market analysis and corporate transaction steering for cement product management at Group, Area, and Country levels. Up to 2 years professional experience in investment banking or consulting preferred. Work across Group, Area, and Country levels, with senior management exposure.
Requirements
- University degree in business, economics, engineering, or similar
- First professional experience (internships or young professional of up to 2 years) ideally in investment banking, transaction services, or management consulting
- Clear 'getting-things-done' mentality and tenacity to overcome obstacles
- Strong quantitative capabilities, structured thinking, and proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint
- Executive level oral and written communication skills
- Fluency in English, other languages a plus
Tasks
- Contribute to the company's strategy development at Group, Area, and Country levels
- Formulate strategies and conduct regular portfolio reviews
- Analyze the construction market and strategic competitors, including industry trends
- Communicate with senior management
- Steer M&A projects and post-merger activities, including partnerships
- Identify and assess potential acquisition targets
- Manage acquisitions and divestments, including due diligence and auction processes
- Coordinate with internal and third-party stakeholders and support negotiations
- Manage carve-out and integration projects (PMI)
- Contribute to and manage global initiatives with a high degree of autonomy
- Oversee transversal project and program management, often cross-functional
- Present findings to senior management or internal steering committees
- Handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Review CAPEX and M&A projects for Board approval
- Prepare strategic reviews of country-led development projects
- Coordinate reviews with other functions, including technical, financial, and environmental aspects
- Liaise with country management
- Conduct ad-hoc market or competitor analyses, including business intelligence
