Requirements
- •Sound background in electronics

- •Obtain purchase orders from customers within the territory
- •Drive Design In’s and Design Wins with customers
- •Develop new business by identifying product gaps and advising on trends
- •Close cooperation agreements with distribution partners
- •Coordinate Bourns contacts with customers across all functions
- •Make face-to-face and virtual sales calls for product presentations
- •Search for new applications for company products
- •Assist customers in adapting products to their specifications
- •Acquire comprehensive knowledge of customer personnel and products
- •Achieve monthly sales booking quotas and forecasts
- •Ensure proper handling of customer orders with the Customer Service Team
- •Continuously improve knowledge of Bourns product portfolio
- •Submit weekly updates on key customer activity
- •Provide monthly reports on customers and market trends
- •Turn in regular expense reports on time
- •Comply with company policies and directives for profitable sales
- •Stay informed about competitive products and practices
- •Recommend new products or modifications to existing products
- •Support product lines and Quality functions regarding quality issues
- •Attend sales meetings, training programs, and trade shows as directed
- •Perform other related duties as required
- •Act as Global Account Manager for specific assigned accounts
- •Conduct annual contract negotiations
- •Provide central and decentralized support for design-in activities
- •Represent Bourns as a leading supplier
- •Maintain and expand relationships in decision-making areas
- •Monitor assigned accounts for technical trends and production changes
- •Provide regular summary information on account status
- •Coordinate supplier management meetings and implement actions
- •Ensure proper setup of worldwide project strategies
- •Follow up on transfer business with Data support team assistance
- •Visit distribution branch offices and conduct joint customer visits
- •Submit productivity proposals highlighting cost and technological advantages
- •Coordinate logistics systems as requested by customers
