Aerospace & Defence Client Engagement Manager – Central Europe(m/w/x)
Driving design-in sales for FPGA, microcontroller, and analog products with Aerospace & Defence clients. Proven technical field sales experience in this segment required. Employee stock purchase program, bonus aligned with company goals.
Requirements
- BSc in Electronics or associated engineering disciplines or equivalent
- Relevant technical field sales experience with sales success track record in design-in environment, particularly Aerospace and Defence market segment
- Conversant with semiconductor industry
- Familiarity with FPGA, microcontroller, analog, RF, wireless and networking and communication products
- Systematic problem-solving and hypothesizing client pain points, expectations, and implicit needs
- Brainstorming with team members to devise solutions for complex client challenges
- Tailored communication to client needs with authority
- Effective presentation delivery
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Use of rational and emotional drivers to appeal to clients
- Driving conversations to elements of value for both parties
- Identifying right client stakeholders and building connections quickly
- Driving consensus for design wins
- Cooperative work with internal stakeholders

Tasks
- Generate and maintain sales relationships with key Aerospace and Defence clients
- Identify and build new business opportunities with evolving customers
- Reframe client thinking to build consensus for Microchip’s solutions
- Identify, pre-qualify, manage, and close major designs and new opportunities
- Coordinate technical and commercial resources with key customers
- Develop and implement sales strategies across client divisions and regions
- Drive business relationships with assigned clients
- Identify key client stakeholders and coach them to build consensus
- Provide quarterly billing forecasts for direct and distribution customers
- Offer bookings forecasts and other ad hoc reports
- Support Microchip’s channel partners with commercial insights
- Use the Microchip Client Engagement Process to gain customer credibility
- Maintain Compass and Model N opportunity systems for the region
- Collaborate with the A&D and Central Europe sales and applications team
- Attend team meetings and specific events
- Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions
- Provide quantifiable feedback and ROI for client investments
