- MBA or senior expertise in marketing or applications roles
- Minimum 10 years in microcontroller or touch controller systems
- Minimum 10 years in Automotive, Consumer, or Industrial segments
- Proven track record in product marketing, portfolio strategy, or go-to-market execution in semiconductor industry
- Strong strategic thinking and prioritization skills
- Business acumen: business case development, forecast reviews, pipeline analysis, pricing strategies
- Technical depth: system-level architectures, semiconductor product development, qualification standards (AEC-Q100)
- Proficiency with analytics and productivity tools (Tableau, Excel, Microsoft 365)
- Experience leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, structured, and data-driven
- Willingness to travel across Asia, United States, and Europe
Tasks
- Define portfolio strategy, positioning, segmentation, and differentiation
- Translate customer and market requirements into product specs and business cases
- Lead marketing input into product roadmaps and lifecycle planning
- Develop deep understanding of system-level requirements and platform strategies
- Lead product definition for high-impact programs
- Create and execute marketing strategies for priority segments, regions, and accounts
- Partner with Sales on pipeline reviews, forecast alignment, and corrective actions
- Drive win/loss analysis and competitive intelligence
- Support strategic customer engagements and executive-level discussions
- Define and drive high-impact collateral: solution briefs, presentations, launch kits, case studies
- Lead product launches and ensure consistent messaging
- Serve as primary liaison to Corporate MarCom for brand-compliant execution
- Manage a team of Marketing Engineers with full personnel responsibility
- Set clear priorities and enforce execution standards
- Foster a high-performance culture
- Develop talent through coaching, structured development plans, and succession planning
- Lead by example, stepping in to drive critical tasks
- Champion AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate decision-making
- Leverage Tableau, Excel, and Microsoft 365 for data-driven insights
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Manage and strengthen Microchip’s worldwide Touch Partner network
- Drive design-ins through module partners, distribution, and direct customer channels
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Applications, Systems, and Supply Chain
- Represent marketing in cross-functional forums and customer escalations
