Technical Staff Engineer-Product Marketing(m/w/x)

Description

In this role, you will engage in product design and development while collaborating with customers and internal teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve evaluating market needs, supporting sales efforts, and managing partnerships to drive success in automotive and industrial applications.

Requirements

• •Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields
• •MBA or senior expertise in marketing and/or applications positions
• •3-5 years of experience in microcontroller or touch controller system activities
• •2-3 years of experience in Automotive, Consumer, or Industrial segment
• •Ability to travel throughout the United States and occasionally to Europe and Asia
• •Self-motivated and customer-oriented with attention to details
• •Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
• •Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Tasks

• •Design-in Microchip products for automotive and industrial applications
• •Define and introduce new products
• •Evaluate market segments and applications for business development
• •Collaborate with customers to gather feedback on requirements and trends
• •Interact with various disciplines and business units within Microchip
• •Engage with third-party suppliers in the automotive and industrial supply chains
• •Support the sales organization with marketing tools and price quotes
• •Review customer demand forecasts and backlog coverage with sales
• •Manage the worldwide Touch Partner network
