Tasks

  • Oversee donation accounts for the CERN & Society Foundation
  • Prepare and control the Foundation's annual budget
  • Contribute to the annual external audit of the Foundation
  • Prepare financial and substantial reporting to authorities
  • Ensure compliance with policies, donor requirements, and legal obligations
  • Act as a liaison for the CERN & Society Foundation Board
  • Handle formal matters related to Board operations
  • Organize Board meetings
  • Prepare philanthropic grant proposals
  • Oversee project deliverables and timelines
  • Prepare grant reports
  • Conduct prospect research for fundraising needs
  • Prepare approaches for prospects
  • Cultivate prospects and steward donors
  • Provide financial oversight of grant funds
  • Maintain accurate records of grants, donors, and reporting obligations
  • Perform other unforeseen tasks as determined by the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships
