Requirements

• Interest in process improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with Excel, SQL, or data platforms
• Familiarity with project management or business tools
• Interest in training materials and presentations
• Interest in technical international organisations
• Problem solving and critical thinking
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
• Solid organisational skills and methodical approach
• Ability to work independently internationally
• Flexibility in shifting priorities and tasks
• Advantageous proficiency in MS Office and SQL
• Spoken and written English or French
• National of CERN Member State
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field
• No previous CERN fellow or graduate contract
• Possession of a University degree
• No PhD qualification

Tasks

• Source and generate process improvement ideas
• Process and select improvement initiatives
• Follow up on proposed improvement ideas
• Document administrative and operational needs
• Identify value and create detailed process maps
• Develop workflow diagrams and project plans
• Monitor progress and support project implementation
• Collect and analyze performance data
• Document and report project results
• Analyze data to benchmark trends and insights
• Develop communication strategies to provoke project ideas
• Promote a continuous improvement culture
• Celebrate project successes and recognize challenges
• Organize and co-facilitate methodology training sessions
• Develop process improvement training materials
• Plan projects and track overall progress
• Perform additional tasks for the improvement team
