Requirements

  • National of CERN Member or Associate Member State
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before

  • Work in Radiation Areas
  • Interventions in underground installations
  • Valid driving licence

Tasks

  • Communicate continuously with work package leaders, supervisors, and on-site teams
  • Prepare for dismantling/installation activities
  • Evaluate work progress and detect deviations
  • Understand infrastructure conversion needs
  • Control documentation, including technical specifications and change requests
  • Perform integration checks from a coordination perspective
  • Prepare written reports and presentations
  • Contribute to the Technical Design Report
  • Plan and coordinate dismantling and installation activities during Long Shutdown 3
  • Ensure activities adhere to schedule and space boundaries
  • Prepare supporting documentation
  • Liaise between stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve conflicting co-activity issues
  • Collect and structure information
  • Analyze collected data
  • Ensure proper follow-up with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with work package leaders and supervisors
  • Ensure follow-up and implementation by work package leaders and supervisors

Education

  • Compulsory education

Languages

  • English – Business Fluent
  • French – Business Fluent
