Tasks
- Develop ICRC delegation’s strategy and action plan
- Prevent and respond to humanitarian consequences
- Alleviate suffering from armed conflict and OSV
- Provide real-time technical analysis of conflict dynamics
- Advise delegations on dialogue with arms carriers
- Assess impact of law enforcement operations
- Support authorities in improving legally compliant operations
- Design tailored PGE programs
- Integrate IHL and IHRL into police doctrine and training
- Conduct bilateral dialogues with arms carriers
- Deliver pre-deployment briefings for police contingents
- Contribute to delegation’s security assessments
- Ensure access to areas with humanitarian concerns
- Maintain and develop contacts with command structures
- Engage with national, regional, and international institutions
