- Prepare security risk management documents and solutions
- Provide written analysis of security trends and incidents
- Implement a strategic security framework for field operations
- Conduct security surveys and assessments of field measures
- Maintain a functioning Security Communication System
- Manage day-to-day travel security for field missions
- Develop specialized field security training programs
- Facilitate security capacity building with international partners
- Develop and implement field-specific emergency response plans
- Support the crisis management team during field emergencies
- Collaborate with NGOs, diplomatic missions, and government representatives
- Build strategic relationships with international security agencies
- Represent the organization in global security forums
- Leverage new technologies to enhance field security measures
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security protocols
- Assess risks to staff and recommend technical measures
- Draft and implement field security measures
- Conduct periodic assessments of security equipment
- Supervise security providers and evaluate their performance
- Coordinate initial responses to security incidents
- Draft detailed reports and global security statistics
- Perform risk assessments to minimize workplace health issues
- Assist with travel security approvals and mission planning
- Manage campus security in the absence of the Senior Officer
