Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, public health surveillance, or health information systems
  • Proven experience in financial and contract management
  • Work experience with project management tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working in sub-Saharan Africa and/or challenging operating environments
  • Knowledge of donor-funded health programs and global health architecture
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in French desired

Tasks

  • Liaise with country stakeholders for grant implementation
  • Coordinate with Implementation Specialists and Country Teams for project planning
  • Monitor project deliverables, budgets, and timelines
  • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support knowledge management and documentation of project outputs
  • Coordinate internal and external communications for project alignment
  • Compile information on health information and surveillance systems
  • Draft communications for senior management and stakeholders
  • Create briefing materials and summaries for meetings
  • Maintain accurate reporting on project implementation
  • Conduct regular monitoring and analysis of implementation progress
  • Generate evidence for strategic investments in future grants
  • Guide country engagement in GF strategy-aligned initiatives
  • Monitor co-financing requirements and advocate for sustainability
