Anforderungen
- Master's or PhD with hands-on procurement consulting and project management experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and on-site teams, with responsibility for cost control and implementation outcomes
- Consulting toolkit: organizational change management, stakeholder alignment & training
- Strong commercial understanding including P&L impact and connecting procurement to cash, EBITDA, working capital, and operational KPIs
- Stakeholder management and communication skills, including articulating procurement value to CFO, COO & supply chain leadership
- Excellent category knowledge: category-specific market dynamics, key suppliers, cost drivers, and negotiation levers
- Familiarity with eProcurement/P2PSystems, spend analytics tools & data visualization
- Excellent business development skills: support for pitch decks & proposal content, upselling and cross-selling during delivery
- Team leadership and coaching capabilities, particularly in fast-paced environments, with communication and influencing skills
- Native or business fluent German and English (C1); additional European languages (French or Spanish) advantageous
- Willingness to work on client sites across Germany, the EU, and internationally
Aufgaben
- Assess current procurement processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and strategic priorities
- Identify improvement opportunities by analyzing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, cost drivers, and risks across procurement, logistics, planning, and distribution
- Design and implement cost-effective procurement strategies that ensure compliance and positively impact EBITDA, working capital & operational KPIs
- Conduct supplier evaluations, including leading negotiations and managing contracts
- Benchmark supplier performance against best practices
- Manage stakeholders and articulate procurement value to CFO, COO & supply chain leadership
- Prepare reports, forecasts, and spend analyses to inform strategic decision-making
- Lead or support large-scale change management transformation initiatives, including organizational restructuring, acquisition integration, and readiness planning for operational disruptions
- Participate in business development and marketing activities and events
- Expand knowledge and experience by working with Managing Directors on additional value chain topics for clients
