Anforderungen
- Strong academic background (Bachelor's/Master's/PhD) in game/auction theory, market/mechanism design, or industrial economics
- Professional experience in applied game theory, mechanism design, auction/negotiation theory, or behavioral economics
- Consulting tool kit including financial analysis and stakeholder management
- Team management and coaching skills in urgent situations
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Professional experience in procurement (consulting or industry)
- Understanding of industrial procurement organizations, processes, methods, tools, and structures
- Native or business fluent German (C1)
- Native or business fluent English (C1)
- Additional European languages (French or Spanish) advantageous
- Open to working on client site within Germany, across the EU, and internationally
- Willingness to work on-site at client's premises
- Collaboration in close alignment with client teams
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of ERP/SAP & project management tools
Aufgaben
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, overseeing costs and results
- Execute and implement game-theoretical negotiation projects, including monopoly negotiations or competitive tendering
- Conduct complex negotiations and create supporting documentation, such as data analyses, strategy derivation, visualizations, and presentations
- Identify and achieve significant cost savings by developing creative solutions that positively impact EBITDA, working capital, and operational KPIs
- Manage stakeholder engagement and communication throughout projects
- Lead on the latest scientific methods and promote game-theoretical understanding among clients
- Support business development initiatives, collaborating with Managing Directors on pitch documents and thought leadership
