Anforderungen
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics or related discipline
- Professional experience in procurement consulting, management consulting or strategic procurement
- Experience delivering procurement transformation, cost reduction, strategic sourcing or value creation projects
- Strong understanding of procurement operating models, category management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management and procurement excellence
- Experience leading project workstreams and coordinating small teams in consulting environment
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
- Commercial acumen with clear understanding of procurement's impact on EBITDA, cash flow, working capital and enterprise value
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence interacting with senior client stakeholders
- Desirable experience using eProcurement platforms, P2P systems, spend analytics and data visualisation tools
- Excellent presentation, communication and project management skills
- Advantageous initial experience supporting business development activities, proposal writing or client pitches
- Native or business fluent German and English (minimum C1) required
- Additional European languages considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel to client locations across Germany, Europe and internationally
Aufgaben
- Lead individual project workstreams in procurement transformation, cost optimization, and operational improvement.
- Analyze procurement organizations, operating models, sourcing strategies, and supply chain processes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in procurement.
- Develop fact-based recommendations to improve procurement performance.
- Develop fact-based recommendations to reduce costs.
- Develop fact-based recommendations to optimize EBITDA, cash flow, working capital, and operational KPIs.
- Conduct spend analyses.
- Conduct supplier assessments.
- Conduct market benchmarking.
- Conduct opportunity assessments using quantitative and qualitative data.
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Support supplier negotiations.
- Support contract optimization.
- Support supplier performance management.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations.
- Prepare steering committee materials.
- Prepare decision papers for senior client stakeholders.
- Manage day-to-day communication with client counterparts across Procurement, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.
- Coordinate project activities.
- Monitor project timelines.
- Manage project risks.
- Ensure high-quality project deliverables.
- Coach and develop Consultants and Analysts.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and day-to-day support to junior team members.
- Contribute to organizational transformation programs.
- Contribute to post-merger integration.
- Contribute to procurement operating model redesign.
- Support proposal development.
- Support pitch presentations.
- Support thought leadership initiatives.
- Support business development initiatives.
