- Hands-on experience with knowledge graphs/ontology modeling, API design/middleware development, AI/ML in educational contexts, or content/asset management platforms
- Coding and scripting capability (Python, JavaScript) for prototyping, data transformation, technical validation
- Translate educational and clinical requirements into technical specifications
- Experience within IT governance frameworks and alongside IT departments
- Builder mentality: prototype and test rather than write specifications
- Systems thinking: understanding platform, data model, content structure connections
- Comfortable at intersection of technology and education
- Fast learner, stays current with AI and knowledge engineering developments
- Works well with non-technical stakeholders, explains complex concepts simply

- Build ontology models
- Create content metadata schemas
- Develop structured vocabularies
- Build and maintain middleware layer
- Connect content to existing platforms
- Integrate with future AI pipelines
- Collaborate with Curriculum Design
- Incorporate educational taxonomy
- Collaborate with clinical commissions
- Incorporate clinical ontology
- Prototype AI-powered tools
- Implement AI tools
- Develop RAG-based retrieval
- Build content transformation pipelines
- Implement intelligent tagging
- Create structured data feeds
- Support AO Companion Product Owner
- Provide technical coordination
- Assist with sprint planning
- Manage release management
- Evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies
- Propose practical implementations
- Understand existing platform stack
- Build on top of existing systems
- Ensure clean integration with systems
- Comply with IT security standards
- Comply with data privacy standards
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Share knowledge across the team
