Aufgaben
- Manage all operational processes in the hotel
- Coordinate departments to maximize guest satisfaction
- Supervise a team of 20 staff members
- Directly manage the Guesthouse manager and Front-office manager
- Maintain high quality standards and service levels
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Plan and optimize resource utilization
- Manage budgets and report on income and expenditure
- Liaise with the finance department on invoices and payment requests
- Track cash balances and credit card statements
- Collaborate with various EMBL departments, especially the Course & Conference Office
- Develop pricing strategies considering economic efficiency
- Oversee purchasing of consumables and services with relevant teams
- Obtain quotations for major purchases and renovations
- Manage contracts and communicate with the building owner
- Schedule and deploy staff based on occupancy rates
- Work closely with HR on staffing and performance management
- Supervise and train apprentices
