About Aloisious
Aloisious Caraet is Principal AI Engineer at Nejo, where he builds the AI and data systems powering a smarter job search experience.
Before Nejo, Alois spent nearly four years at the Austrian Federal Computing Centre (BRZ), where he led AI and data management projects for the public sector. In 2023, he received the ADV Data Excellence Award together with the project lead from the Austrian Ministry of Finance for Data Governance Austria. His work on Austria's open data platform data.gv.at was a Top-3 finalist in 2024 for research on AI-powered recommendation systems. He also brings a total of 17 years of experience from A1 Telekom Austria, including the final nearly three years as a Business Intelligence Expert.
Alois holds a Master's degree in Data Science from FH Technikum Wien. When he's not training AI models, he's training for major marathons, and keeping up with his four kids.
