**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented working student to support our data reporting and analytics initiatives using Microsoft Azure and Power BI. This role is ideal for a student with a foundational understanding of data engineering and visualization who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, real-world environment. You will work closely with our reporting and analytics team to help build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and dashboards that drive business insights.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
* Support the creation and monitoring of data pipelines using Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric.
* Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks using SQL, Python & REST APIs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
* Document processes, data models, and reporting logic for internal knowledge sharing.

**Required Qualifications & Skills:**
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Basic knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data.
* Basic programming skills in Python, especially for data processing tasks. Experience with Pandas & NumPy is a plus.
* Familiarity with Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
* Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric for building data pipelines is a strong plus.
* Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail is important.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
* Proficiency in English; German, French or Spanish is a plus.
