Deine Aufgaben
- •Organize and supervise athletic opportunities in Germany and internationally
- •Promote competitive and non-competitive sports programs
- •Represent BBIS at ESC, GISST, and other conferences
- •Strengthen partnerships with local community clubs
- •Collaborate with the Head of PE to align athletics with the PE curriculum
- •Oversee procurement and maintenance of athletic equipment and uniforms
- •Promote an inclusive philosophy of sport emphasizing participation and fair play
- •Develop and maintain an athletics handbook reflecting BBIS values
- •Establish clear expectations for attendance, behavior, and sportsmanship
- •Lead the Student Athletic Council to enhance student leadership
- •Recruit and mentor coaches and volunteers, ensuring inclusive practices
- •Manage athletics budgets, including travel planning and financial oversight
- •Enhance visibility of sports achievements through various channels
- •Develop a progression plan for athletics to support younger students
- •Support the development of the athletics section on the school website
- •Liaise with the PTA and community members to develop a parent booster club
- •Promote a philosophy for competitive sport that encourages mass participation
- •Plan and oversee diverse activities beyond the school day
- •Ensure activities reflect student interests and promote well-being
- •Coordinate termly activity schedules and communication with stakeholders
- •Recruit and support activity leaders, ensuring quality and compliance
- •Work with IB Programme Coordinators to align activities with learning outcomes
- •Manage budgets and facility use for safe program delivery
- •Promote positive interactions and community-building in co-curricular spaces
