Anforderungen

  • Degree in Law, Communications, Political Science, Public Health, Life Sciences, or related fields
  • Excellent leadership, influence, and teamwork mindset
  • Strong ability to develop and deliver impactful Communications, Public Affairs and Policy Advocacy campaigns
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including storytelling and policy translation for lay audiences
  • Skilled in managing complex stakeholder environments and partnerships
  • Minimum 15 years in Communications, Public Affairs and Policy Advocacy, preferably in oncology or rare diseases
  • Deep understanding of the European healthcare policy and oncology landscape, with strong networks across institutions, cancer alliances, and advocacy groups
  • Proven track record of engaging with patient organizations, industry associations, and policymakers to deliver tangible policy and access outcomes
  • Experience in launching new oncology medicines and shaping policy to enable faster patient access
  • Familiarity with reimbursement, HTA processes, and access barriers in oncology
  • Strong track record of managing teams across multiple European countries
  • Fluent in English, other languages are considered advantageous

  • Map and assess the evolving oncology policy environment in Europe
  • Monitor EU legislative processes and assess their impact on business
  • Identify opportunities and risks to shape cancer care policy and access
  • Act as the primary contact for European health policy stakeholders
  • Develop company positions for representation in trade and industry associations
  • Design and implement comprehensive communications and advocacy strategies for oncology
  • Lead engagement with European institutions on cancer-related policy issues
  • Shape narratives on cancer policy and innovation in European media
  • Develop visibility strategies for senior executives aligned with corporate priorities
  • Build and maintain relationships with top-tier European and trade media
  • Oversee media communications, including crisis management
  • Ensure internal messaging aligns with external priorities
  • Collaborate with leadership to communicate key policy milestones internally
  • Drive a culture of transparency and inclusion with HR and corporate functions
  • Develop internal campaigns to celebrate organizational achievements
  • Partner with country teams for consistent execution of advocacy strategies
  • Create best practice toolkits and training for local advocacy capacity
  • Develop digital and media engagement strategies for advocacy
  • Foster cross-country learning on oncology policy initiatives
  • Promote ethical stakeholder collaboration across markets
  • Serve as a core member of global and regional oncology teams
  • Align European messaging with corporate narrative and media relations
  • Provide counsel on public affairs and communications to business leaders
  • Support corporate reputation management initiatives in oncology
  • Ensure European communications reinforce the global corporate narrative
  • Provide insights on advocacy trends to enrich the global narrative
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels in Europe
  • Coordinate with global teams for executive visibility at international platforms
  • Collaborate on spokesperson strategy and region-specific media plans
  • Align internal communications in Europe with global messaging
