Shopstory is searching for additional firepower in the business development team! We are a young SaaS scale\-up dedicated to eCommerce performance. In these past years we've seen an insane amount of money being spent on marketing, hiring and operations. This led to many inefficiencies being created in this space and this is where we come in. We want to be the \# 1 solution in the market for various automation needs in the eCommerce sector.
**Role Description:**
As a Venture Development Manager, you will help us to set up a go\-to\-market motion from the ground up. We launched our new product in March and successfully scaled to a six\-figure ARR already. Now we want to scale further. We are looking for a new motivated team member that wants to help our growth team to set up a new department and contribute to Shopstory’s growth journey.

**Your responsibilities:**
- Lay the foundation for a successful go\-to\-market motion by working closely with our founding team
- Work closely with the Sales Leadership to identify new business opportunities and identify product\-channel\-fit
- Qualify incoming leads according to our ICP to ensure high\-quality revenue pipeline growth
- Own and execute the customer journey by executing our ABM strategy to drive pipeline and revenue growth
- Talk to customers to identify their pains and find the optimal solution for them
- Work cross\-functionally with Marketing to refine our messaging in our ads \& on our website
##### Dein Profil
**Your profile:**
- You finished bachelor/master studies at a renowned university with an excellent record
- You are interested in the eCommerce and/or SaaS field
- You made first experiences in business development/software sales via an internship in a startup or another fast\-paced environment
- Technically interested: we sell a technical product; you know the basics of API's as well as no\-code tools or **are willing to learn it**
- You've got **great energy** **that people gravitate toward**
- You are a strong communicator in English in both oral and written, German is a plus but not required
- You've got a bias toward action, love to dive in with both feet and make stuff happen
- You're not thrown off by a fast\-moving, quickly changing environment
- **No prior work experience required** \- we are a motivated team, show that you have true interest in what we do, we hire for attitude not for hard skills, we believe that motivated individuals will find their way
