At the **Institute for Theoretical Physics**, TU Wien offers a position as a University Assistant Prae-doc (all genders) limited to expected 4 years for 30 hours/week. Expected start: September 2025.
**Aufgaben**
* Research in the theoretical description and numerical simulation of time-dependent quantum many-body systems, in particular response of laser driven molecular systems and 2D materials
* Co-development of the time-dependent two-particle reduced density matrix method
* Completion of a dissertation including writing a PhD thesis
* Publishing of scientific articles in peer reviewed journals
* Participation in research and project activities

**Zusatzinfo (optional)**
Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade B1 of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 2,786.10/month gross, 14 times/year for 30 hours/week. Relevant working experiences may increase the monthly income.
