Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Trade Marketing Manager to lead the design and implementation of innovative marketing strategies within the distribution channel for the EMEA region. This pivotal role focuses on both PUSH and PULL marketing approaches to drive channel performance, enhance brand awareness, and strengthen customer engagement.

This role can be based in any country in Europe where Sika operates, with regular travel across the region (approximately 30-40% of working time).

The main responsibilities are:

  • PUSH Strategy Implementation: Lead the execution of the “Category Management” concept at points of sale, ensuring alignment with the "Perfect Store" model to maximize efficiency and impact. Develop and oversee the Promotional Strategy, defining metrics and models for effective in/out campaigns to drive sales. Design and implement point-of-sale tools and materials under the “Merchandising” framework to create compelling in-store experiences. Develop and manage Loyalty Programs to build stronger relationships with distributors and customers, fostering long-term engagement.

  • PULL Marketing Initiatives: Drive actions aimed at increasing End User Engagement, including acquisition strategies and effective Lead Management campaigns to convert prospects into customers. Define and execute impactful initiatives to enhance Brand Awareness, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and synergy between pull initiatives and overall brand positioning.

  • Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with regional distribution teams and key stakeholders to implement best practices and tailor strategies for local markets. Stay ahead of market trends and consumer behavior to continuously refine trade marketing strategies and deliver measurable results.

  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs for trade marketing initiatives and regularly evaluate their effectiveness. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve campaign performance and optimize resources.

Qualifications

You have a strong background in trade marketing and a passion for delivering impactful campaigns with:

  • Proven experience in trade marketing with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similiar role

  • Proven expertise in both PUSH and PULL strategies with strong knowledge of category management, promotional strategies, and customer engagement tools.

  • Fluency in English

  • A creative and analytical mindset with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working across teams and regions with passion for driving results and a commitment to delivering value to both customers and the business.

  • Readiness to travel up to 40%
