City: Dagmersellen # Tobacco Processing Technical Training Manager (m/f/d) 17 May 2025 Job ID: 99392 Country: Switzerland Professional area: Production Contract type: Permanent Professional level: Experienced Location: Dagmersellen, LU, CH, 6252 **Tobacco Processing Technical Training Manager (m/f/d)** TFT (Technical & Functional Training) is a global JTI GSC function focused on upskilling employees, enhancing efficiency, and eliminating skill-related losses. With a team of more than 50 experts, we provide technical and functional training across multiple factories, supporting performance improvements and complex projects, working under IWS ( Integrated Work System) philosophy. Our reach spans 40+ GSC (Global Supply Chain) factories, we train 1,500+ technicians each year, execute multiple key technical projects, within the GSC on its IWS journey across JTI’s operations. Join our team as a Tobacco Processing Technical Training Manager! In this role, you'll inspire and guide your team to excellence, delivering impactful training and addressing skill gaps. You'll enhance GSC factories operations in machinery, quality, safety, and KPI improvement projects. Provide expert technical support, coordinate innovative IWS-related projects, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Supervise, mentor, and develop your team while driving success. If you're passionate about making a tangible impact, we want to hear from you! **Position:** As the Tobacco Processing Technical Training Manager (m/f/d) in the area of Technical & Functional Training, you will: * Lead and manage a team of TFT technical instructors, ensuring effective performance, task allocation, and structured training development. * Deliver technical training and develop efficiency improvement plans for personnel. * Provide technical support to factories, including machinery performance, quality, safety, and maintenance improvements. * Participate in technical projects, skills assessments, and training needs analysis. * Stay updated on equipment modifications, prepare technical documentation, and maintain training program accuracy. * Serving as a point of contact for internal and external functions (e.g., Global IWS Teams, Quality, Engineering, etc.). **Requirements:** * STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education (High School minimum); additional technical qualifications are an advantage. * At least 5 years of experience in the tobacco industry, with strong knowledge of tobacco processing (primary) equipment.
