# Thesis (B/M): Experimental investigation of oxyfuel combustion in a combustion plant
In our Clean Combustion and Process Heat department, we deal with low-emission combustion processes and process heat. One of our central topics is oxyfuel combustion, in which pure oxygen is used instead of normal ambient air, enabling efficient CO2 capture from flue gases. For this purpose, we have converted a biomass combustion plant, which we will commission and test as part of your thesis.
