# Technologist Product Characterisation **Hamburg** | **Full time** **PLM Technologist (m/f/d) Temporary 12 months** **LOCATION: Hamburg** **REPORTS TO: Manager, Technical PLM & Knowledge Management T&HS EMEA** **FIXED TERM: 12 Months** **WORKPLACE TYPE: On-site** The **PLM Technologist** is responsible for supporting PLM activities such as product performance characterisation linking to application knowledge, analytical experience and measurement capabilities **Core Responsibilities:** * **Technical Assessment** – conduct technical evaluations of products to support PLM project work such as sourcing changes, product and process optimisation projects and concession work * **Knowledge Management** – As technical expert in product characterisation act as administrator for the starch library * **G2M support** – support the technical community in running measurement analysis for selected projects * **Documentation** – support the PLM product documentation maintenance workstream for our EPL products * **Coordination** – Coordinate measurement equipment maintenance **Qualified candidates will have:** Mandatory requirements: * Experience in the food ingredient industry * Good insights into the typical value-props and ingredient functionalities required across all food application segments * Fluent in English (verbal & writing) * Experienced in analytical characterisation and rheological measurements * Experienced in supporting projects and using LSS-principles/methods to drive efficiency and process improvements * Excellent team-player * Good interpersonal & communication skills * Enthusiasm and creativity and ability to effectively organise, prioritise and execute Required behaviors and skills: * Self-motivated and results-focused * Good planning and organizing skills * Excellent team-player that enjoys working in cross-functional teams * Curious, creative, and agile with a food-loving mindset **Relocation Available:** No
