This role will be instrumental in creating and maintaining a variety of technical documentation for our products and services. The ideal candidate possesses excellent writing and communication skills, a strong technical aptitude, and the ability to translate complex information into clear and concise documentation. **Responsibilities:** * Responsible for creating and writing various types of user documents, including how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, or instructions. * Work with customers to translate their functional requirements into detailed technical specifications. * Supports the engineering team with documentation for system components and engineering arti facts * Process Owner for all technical documentation on the program including documentation produced by professional technical writers under management * Writes and edits technical documentation for all of the project’s hardware and soft ware to include installation, configuration and how-to documentation * Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including soft ware and systems engineering, system operations, testing and user documentation. * Distill complex information into clear, concise text * Apply writing and grammar skills and deliver accurate documentation under tight deadlines * Use documentation tools to develop templates and create output in various mediums * Knowledge and understanding of SDLC, Risk Management Framework (RMF) and and/or PWS terminology * Demonstrate innovative influence within a project that has impact and participation from multiple stakeholders * Create Standardized process for managing documentation, reviewing documentation on and approval of documentation. * Update, manage and maintain project and component knowledge base. **Required Skills:** * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proven ability to write clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation. * Knowledge and understanding of Soft ware Development Life Cycle (SDLC). * Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and/or Performance Work Statement (PWS) terminology. * Experience using documentation tools and creating templates. * Knowledge of SharePoint administration. * Knowledge of ServiceNow. * Working knowledge of Enterprise network architecture, Cloud Environments (Azure, AWS, Google), Agile methodologies to assist engineers in drafting and editing client deliverables. **Desired Skills:** * Experience working with engineering teams to document technical specifications. * Experience in creating and maintaining knowledge bases. * Educati0n and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related fi eld.
