Anforderungen
- •University degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or a similar field
- •Extensive hands-on experience building, improving, and operating data platforms in high-volume environments
- •Expert Level SQL, dbt & Python
- •Skilled using Infrastructure as Code: e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
- •Expertise in AWS Cloud, especially their data-native service offering (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift etc.) and security features like IAM, KMS and networking
- •Experience with data modelling in the modern data stack
- •Workflow Orchestration: e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or similar
- •Containerization: Docker; Kubernetes is a plus
- •Deep knowledge of Software Engineering best practices—from requirements specification, version control, CI/CD, and testing to deployment and monitoring of data pipelines and services
- •Ability to balance the big picture (strategy, scaling) with hands-on engineering and problem-solving
- •Comfortable leveraging GenAI-assisted coding while maintaining high standards and thoughtful code reviews
- •First experience acting as team or tech lead
- •Ability to act as a trusted advisor for other teams and communicate complex technical topics clearly
