# Technical Management Principal Engineer **Germany, Berlin** **MISSION** As part of the Operations Engineering team and reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, the Technical Management Principal Engineer will be responsible for defining and delivering initiatives to support offshore assets within the Continental Europe Hub. The goal is to ensure operational efficiency, performance excellence, and full compliance with applicable regulations. **LOCATION** Berlín (Germany) **WORKING PATTERN** Office/Site **RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS** Coordinate and support the preparation of technical specifications and scopes of work for maintenance activities across wind farm assets, as well as for other technical requirements. Assist the Contracts team during tender processes by conducting technical evaluations of received offers and delivering the necessary technical assessments. Support the Operations Engineering teams by developing and delivering processes and procedures required to implement an effective O&M asset integrity management system, aimed at protecting and maximizing asset value and production revenue across the global portfolio. Ensure that pre-operational and operational risks are identified, captured, and mitigated to the extent reasonably possible. Implement lessons learned and ensure that any design or technical modifications are properly assessed, documented, and approved prior to implementation. Manage and coordinate compliance with all regulatory obligations applicable to offshore assets under the responsibility of Operations Engineering. This includes preparing and submitting required reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., BSH in Germany) and coordinating with appointed certifiers. Ensure a smooth transition from Construction to O&M phases, monitoring the resolution of snags and non-conformities until closure. Support the Contracts team in addressing warranty claims. Support the definition of the CAPEX budget for Operations Engineering and monitor the progress of CAPEX projects throughout the year. **PROFILE/REQUIREMENTS** * BSc in Engineering (mechanical, structural, electrical or control) * IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project management software. * Experience in engineering industry. * Ability to work, manage project teams and manage decision making process under pressure and to deadlines. * Developed report writing, presentation skills and ability to summarize a parameters and drivers impacting the scope of works * Sound planning and analysis skills with the ability to look forward and see / anticipate problems and thereafter plan and implements mitigating solutions. * Flexible to travel around Europe and overseas * Capacity to work within an international and multicultural team * Languages: English: high level.
