  • •Strong experience with GraphQL
  • •Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js/TypeScript
  • •Strong understanding of security vulnerabilities
  • •Track record of building and scaling GraphQL APIs
  • •Strong ownership mindset
  • •Clear and effective communicator
  • •Good German comprehension skills (minimum B1 level)
  • •Fluent in English
  • •Deep expertise in Apollo Federation
  • •Experience with serverless AWS
  • •Knowledge of GraphQL security and authorisation patterns
  • •Experience with AWS Cognito or similar identity management systems
  • •Understanding of platform thinking
  • •Experience with DevOps practices
  • •Frontend skills in React/TypeScript

  • •Own and evolve the federated GraphQL architecture
  • •Drive GraphQL strategy across the organization
  • •Co-own product vision with the Product team
  • •Shape technical strategy and make informed trade-offs
  • •Build authorization and authentication layers for GraphQL
  • •Implement and improve federation patterns across teams
  • •Lead cross-team onboarding to the GraphQL platform
  • •Guide teams through integration challenges
  • •Set best practices for GraphQL integration
  • •Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
  • •Drive end-to-end platform improvements
  • •Identify systemic problems and propose technical solutions
  • •Take responsibility for running your systems
