To strengthen our team in Bergheim (Salzburg), we are looking for a Teamlead Data Science to further develop the team structure and to establish an environment for continuous improvement, in this position you will have leadership responsibility for currently four employees. The role of Teamlead Data Science is both a technical role and in parallel a bridge-builder into the PALFINGER organization by acting as a Data Product Manager / Data Ambassador for data initiatives and projects.

## YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Establish and continuously improve team organization, provide and define guiding principles to enable self-organization and self-motivation
* Define needed team capabilities, assess existing capabilities and define roadmap for new capability development; Establish continuous improvement, also continuous learning environment
* Design, plan, build and maintain cloud-based data solutions; Hands-on approach with a focus on cross-functional collaboration
* Establish transparency of current initiatives and projects by maintaining and managing a backlog as the basis for resource planning
* Understand and monitor market developments and technology advancements; Define criteria to evaluate the introduction of new technology

## YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
* Completed education in a technical field such engineering, computer science or business informatics, as well as several years of experience in a leading position
* Knowledge and experience with big-data, data-lake, machine-learning architectures (e.g. Delta Lake, …)
* Solid expertise with software development / programming languages (e.g.: Python, R, ..)
* Interpersonal and intercultural skills combined with flexible communication style
* Fluent in English and negotiation skills in international business environment

Minimum gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 59.776,98 per year. We are willing to overpay according to training and qualification.
