Five weeks of vacation, a comprehensive onboarding program, diverse and tailor-made training opportunities and a colourful and dedicated team with exciting tasks are just some of the benefits we offer you! **Your responsibilities** * Lead and manage strategic global engineering and process transfer projects, ensuring comprehensive portfolio oversight while enabling regional teams to achieve key milestones. * Lead a small team of process and quality specialists by setting clear goals, executing development strategies, fostering collaboration, and driving team performance. * Actively contribute to design reviews for strategic projects, guiding technical decisions through approaches such as Design of Experiments (DoE). * Deliver hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for global injection molding projects, ensuring seamless handovers and safe, successful launches across multiple sites. * Act as the technical liaison for key customer programs, fostering cross-regional knowledge sharing, training, and capability development within global engineering teams. * Drive the standardization and continuous improvement of global engineering processes, tools, quality standards, and documentation by sharing best practices across local teams and shaping global manufacturing strategy. * Initiate and lead innovation and digitalization projects focused on industry 4.0 integration and smart manufacturing to enhance product realization. **Our requirements** * A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing or polymer engineering, or a closely related field, combined with a minimum of 15 years' practical experience in rubber and elastomer processing, with a particular focus on injection molding and related technologies. * Extensive expertise in molding technologies, elastomer materials, and polymer component manufacturing, supported by a strong background in process and product development. * Proven expertise in global project management, process industrialization and optimization, and tooling, with a strong record of delivering large, complex projects within matrix organizations. * First leadership experience with a willingness to lead a small team of global process and quality specialists, supported by basic knowledge of quality management principles such as FMEA and APQP. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build networks, lead intercultural teams – especially with Chinese colleagues – and collaborate across diverse environments. * Highly results-driven and technically curious, with a creative, innovation-focused mindset, adaptable and globally oriented, and willing to travel internationally. * Fluent in English (C1) with strong communication skills; proficiency in German is a clear plus. **Be yourself at Datwyler** We are convinced that people make the difference.
