We are hiring in Hechingen **System Engineer I (m/f/d)** ## Your Strenght * Degree in (Business) Computer Science or comparable vocational training (e.g., IT specialist in system integration) * At least 3 years of experience in infrastructure environments * Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft desktop operating systems * Experience with storage systems (NetApp, Pure Storage) and physical servers (Fujitsu, Dell, HP) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint administration * Strong VMware skills * Familiarity with global backup and recovery solutions * Strong understanding of vulnerability remediation, patching, and antivirus management tools * Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring systems * Scripting experience with PowerShell for automation and maintenance * Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and in a team * Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English ## Your Contribution * Administer and maintain the global infrastructure, including Active Directory, virtual and hardware servers * Install and maintain hardware and software systems * Act as an escalation point for the Technical Support Teams * Monitor data protection systems and manage backups and restorations * Participate in hardware/software procurement and lifecycle management * Create and maintain technical documentation * Support collaboration with external service providers * Manage security software and hardware components * Provide monitoring, capacity planning, and ongoing infrastructure support * Design and implement enhancements to optimize system performance ## Our Strenght * A dynamic, international work environment with opportunities for innovation and leadership. * Diverse and challenging projects with significant global impact. * Opportunities for career growth and specialized training programs. * Flexible working conditions, including hybrid * Attractive employee benefits, such as pension plans, EGYM Wellpass
