Anforderungen

•Master’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences or similar)
•10 years of professional experience in the Automotive industry or research projects
•Experience in leading international teams and project management
•Experience with funding projects
•Very good knowledge of Microsoft applications
•Experience in mentoring and teaching technical knowledge to colleagues
•High analytical skills in solving complex problems
•Structured and result-oriented working style
•Ability to work in a team with intercultural communication skills
•Business fluent in German and English
•Experience in the manufacturing sector, design for manufacturing
•Experience in Six Sigma (Green Belt), data science, simulation and/or machine learning
•Willingness to travel within Germany & internationally on demand

•Engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms
•Develop innovative concepts for high reliability standards
•Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, and efficiency
•Scout smart technology to identify innovative solutions
•Analyze potential challenges and risks for HARMAN Automotive
•Conduct concept development and portfolio analysis for new technologies
•Benchmark innovative technologies and perform feasibility analysis in pilot projects
•Communicate project results and track progress within the company
•Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building across the organization
•Solve complex research and technical problems
•Document and present work results to management and stakeholders
•Recommend best practices to enhance products and processes
•Monitor and report key performance indicators
•Optimize internal processes and maintain databases
•Create presentations and documentation
•Organize specialist conferences and in-house trade fairs
•Provide instruction and support to students and trainees
•Manage research projects in HARMAN Automotive
•Acquire and apply for funding projects at various levels
•Administer and lead national and international projects
•Prepare project outlines and application documents
•Submit funding requests and interim reports
•Communicate with team members and external research partners
•Handle research-oriented work packages
•Report internally to management and evaluate completed projects
