Survey Engineer for LHC Experiments(m/w/x)

As a Survey Engineer for LHC Experiments, you will engage in precise 3D measurements and alignment of physics detectors, ensuring accuracy in particle physics experiments while collaborating on data processing and software validation.

• •Strong interest in high accuracy geodetic metrology
• •Curiosity and attention to detail
• •Experience with instruments and methods in geodetic metrology
• •Theoretical and practical experience with least square-based algorithms
• •Use of survey instruments (laser trackers, total stations, 3D laser scanners)
• •Good knowledge of theories and algorithms for least squares adjustment
• •Good organization and communication skills
• •Sense of responsibility and teamwork capacity
• •Knowledge in digital close-range photogrammetry and 3D laser scanning
• •Practical experience in programming (MATLAB, Python)
• •Spoken and written English or French
• •Commitment to learn basics of the other language
• •Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation
• •Bachelor's or Master's degree
• •Valid driving licence
