Huntsman has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Professional to be based at our site in Bad Saeckingen.
**Supply Chain Planner – Raw Materials, Inventory & IBP Coordination (m/f/d)**
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Supply Chain Planner (m/f/d) to join our team. This multifaceted role will focus on raw material planning, inventory optimization, and integrated business planning (IBP), playing a key role in ensuring the continuity of our operations and contributing to the success of our supply chain strategies.
**Key responsibilities:**
**Raw Material Planning:**
* Align processes with other sites and support teams to ensure consistent product supply within agreed SLAs/ KPIs.
* Collaborate and contribute towards improvement of performance in the area of procurement performance and processes.
**Inventory:**
* Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, movements, and transactions. Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce excess stock and minimize stockouts.
* Monitor inventory and shelf life (packaged goods, tanks, silos) in close collaboration with SCM and PMM.
* Regularly identify slow-moving items and initiate mitigation plans.
**IBP Coordination:**
* Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Analyze cross-functional data to support accurate planning and forecasting.
* Develop and assess scenarios to proactively address risks and opportunities.
**Additional responsibilities:**
* Manage supplier complaints including case-tracking, support Corporate Purchasing in supplier assessments and OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) performance monitoring.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards for qualified or certified ingredients and support New Product Introductions (NPIs) in collaboration with the Product Management group.
* Act as Deputy Supply Chain Manager as required.
**Skills & Experience Required:**
* Degree qualification or equivalent experience with focus on procurement or supply chain. Procurement certification, for example CIPS / APICS.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the chemical industry. Exposure to dangerous goods also desirable.
* Fluent English and German, written and spoken.
* Transportation, Import, and Export experience. Experience in international freight desirable.
* Excellent IT skills, ideally with experience in Microsoft Office, SAP and Power BI.
* Strong communication and relationship building skills, with both internal and external stakeholders including suppliers.
* A proactive and adaptable approach, with proven experience in ambiguous environments.
* High focus on data and metrics.
