Anforderungen
- •Master’s degree in Logistics, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- •Several years of relevant experience in packaging engineering, preferably in automotive industry
- •Strong knowledge of packaging systems, returnable concepts, material handling, and cost drivers
- •Proven experience in defining and setting up supply chains for various delivery concepts, knowledge of OEM-specific call-off systems within German OEMs is an advantage
- •Experience in cost calculations, business cases, and lifecycle costing
- •Familiarity with lean principles and digital planning tools, e.g. CAD, 3D viewers, simulation software, pack assistant
- •Transparency, teamwork, ability to convince colleagues about new ideas, and ability to work autonomously
- •Proactive, hands-on mindset with ability to motivate and align the broader team
- •Fluency in English and German, strong communication skills
- •Willingness to travel to plants, suppliers, and customer sites

Deine Aufgaben
- •Lead packaging and logistics concept development during quotation and acquisition phases
- •Conduct feasibility studies and cost modeling
- •Perform make-or-buy evaluations
- •Develop and validate packaging cost structures, including CAPEX and OPEX
- •Analyze customer requirements and clarify technical, logistical, and commercial topics
- •Define and validate material flows and packaging specifications
- •Establish line-side supply concepts and inventory strategies
- •Collaborate with engineering, plants, suppliers, purchasing, and logistics teams
- •Drive continuous improvement of packaging standards and costing methods
- •Enhance planning tools for efficiency
- •Support SOP and ramp-up phases, including packaging trials and layout planning
- •Participate in supplier selection and validate packaging solutions for cost, quality, and sustainability
