# Student Assistant - Microfluidic Device Fabrication and Characterization
(SiD department – Group - Hot processes and 3D integration)
**What you will do**
* Assisting in cleanroom microfabrication processes (e.g., photolithography, etching, bonding)
* Preparing substrates and materials for fabrication
* Performing flow rate measurements, pressure tests, or leak checks
* Using tools like microscopes, profilometers, or interferometers for dimensional analysis
* Preparing samples for SEM/AFM imaging (if required)
* Collecting and analyzing experimental data (using MATLAB, Python, Excel, etc.)
* Preparing figures or reports for presentations or publications
**What you bring to the table**
