# Structures Compliance Verification Engineer Location: Basel, BS, CH, 4030 Flexible Work Arrangement: Hybrid Job Category: VIP Completions & Large Refurbishments Career Level: Professional Requisition Id: 3544 ## Position Summary Join our Office of Airworthiness and play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance for high-end VIP aircraft as well as refurbishments, modifications and special mission aircraft. As a Structures CVE, you will ensure compliance with EASA Part 21J regulations, working closely with engineers and regulators to maintain the highest standards of aviation safety. ## Your mission * **Compliance monitoring:** Verify structural reports, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis to assess compliance with applicable standards and regulations. * **Project management:** Prepare certification programs and manage STC projects as a focal point of contact for Engineering. * **Technical documentation:** Verify and approve engineering documentation, test plans, and certification reports related to structural changes, modifications and repairs. * **Regulatory coordination:** Coordinate with regulatory agencies, develop and maintain relationships with them. ## . * **Testing & verification:** CVE witnessing of structural tests and on-aircraft testing including conformity. * **Technical advisor:** Provide expertise and guidance to stress engineering on compliance issues and make recommendations on the qualification of subcontractors. * **Cross-Functional collaboration:** Work with internal stakeholders, such as quality, production, supply chain, to integrate compliance into design processes. * **Continuous improvement:** Assist in developing and maintaining Design Organisation Approvals procedures. ## What we offer * An exciting and challenging job in a dynamic environment. * Various opportunities for professional and personal development. * Working with the latest technologies and tools. * A motivated and cheerful team that looks forward to working with you. * Our events are great! We also have lots of fun together outside of working hours. ## Your profile * 10+ years of experience in a Design Organization. * Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent). * Deep knowledge in structural analysis software (e.g. Nastran) * Possess prior authorization as CVE in Structures. * Experience in both minor and major changes with a strong problem-solving and analytical mindset. ## * Expertise of EASA regulations and standards related. * Fluent in English (written & spoken). * Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. * Successful working experience in highly collaborative environments, demonstration to take initiatives and lead efforts inside the team.
