- •Extensive experience as a senior or staff-level product designer in B2B and/or complex consumer products
- •Proven ownership of large, multi-surface product areas or portfolios
- •Experience influencing product strategy through design
- •Exceptional interaction design and UX judgment
- •Strong ability to design systems
- •Experience designing for complex workflows, real-time or collaborative environments

- •Own the end-to-end design vision for all Voice products
- •Ensure coherence, quality, and consistency across experiences
- •Translate product and business strategy into a compelling experience vision
- •Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Research to influence the roadmap
- •Use design as a strategic tool to frame problems and guide decision-making
- •Balance short-term delivery with long-term experience architecture
- •Lead hands-on design work on complex, high-impact problems
- •Design for real-time, multi-speaker, multi-device scenarios
- •Ensure high craft across interaction design and experience quality
- •Mentor and coach other designers on the Voice team
- •Raise the bar for design critique and feedback
- •Help the team grow in confidence and autonomy
- •Contribute to evolving DeepL’s design standards and principles
- •Advocate for design-led product development across disciplines
- •Establish Voice as a benchmark for design excellence
