**Job Description**
The state-of-the-art multi-purpose manufacturing facility is crafted for large-scale production of biologics and has high expansion potential. After completion of construction activities, our site in Lengnau will offer highly flexible biomanufacturing technologies, from development to large-scale production including stainless steel equipment to meet our customer needs.
Technical Responsibilities
* Independently manage, execute and coordinate technical and process-related (sub-)projects within the Project Engineering Organization.
* Perform & Lead engineering tasks in support of Capital Acquisition Requests, Bids/RFP, Engineering Design, Construction and CVQ within the Project Engineering Organization.
* Responsible for scope, budget, safety, quality and schedule of assigned tasks & Projects.
* Support the establishment of a Project PMO within the Lengnau Engineering organization capable of delivering significant CAPEX projects
* Act as a mentor to junior engineering colleagues and actively assist in the development of internal resources.
* Assist in assessing project risk and evaluating the effectiveness of mitigation strategies applied.
* Prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
* Minimum Bachelor's degree or local equivalent in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering
* Bachelor's degree + 5 years experience or Master's degree + 2 years in the engineering field, preferably in the pharmaceutical, food, or chemical process industry.
* Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility.
* Experience of multi-cultural work environment
* Knowlegde of Project Cost Control
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably German or another European language
