# S&OP Specialist (m/f/d), 2 year fixed term contract ## The position Join our dynamic Commercial Supply Chain Management team in Vienna and contribute to shaping the future of our Animal Health supply chain. As of now we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Specialist to support strategic decision-making and foster cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating S&OP-related activities across multiple countries and product categories. You will serve as a trusted partner to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and efficiency throughout the planning process. ## Tasks & responsibilities * Lead the preparation, facilitation, and documentation of integrated S&OP meetings to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective decision-making. * Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency of S&OP processes and initiate corrective actions where necessary. * Oversee logistics planning and execution for product launches and packaging changes, ensuring timely and seamless implementation. * Coordinate demand consensus through S&OP forums and manage collaborative forecasting and replenishment processes to align supply plans with market demand. * Identify opportunities for process optimization, drive efficiency improvements, and contribute to the development of best practices. * Serve as a dependable interface for internal teams and external business partners, fostering strong communication and collaboration. ## Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, ideally with a specialization in Logistics or Supply Chain Management. * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in supply chain management, preferably within S&OP functions in the pharmaceutical, OTC, FMCG, or animal health sectors. * Proficiency in planning and analytical tools such as PowerBI, SAP APO, JDA, and advanced Excel, with a strong ability to interpret and utilize data for decision-making. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and foster cross-functional collaboration. * Strong problem-solving mindset, with a focus on pragmatic solutions, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency. * Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are considered an asset. ## Your Benefits * **Flexible working time models:** home office and flexible working hours, depending on department and position – many things are possible with us. * **Additional days off (“bridge-days”):** more free time through additional days off to bridge single working days between bank holidays and the weekend – without having to use vacation days. * **Canteen & Cafeteria:** whether it's coffee and croissant for breakfast, various lunch menus or snacks in between – our subsidized staff restaurant & cafeteria has something for every taste including vegetarian and vegan options. * **Learning & development:** diverse training and development opportunities for your personal and professional growth.
