## Solution Architect ###### Permanent employee, Full-time ·AT Vienna,HU Budapest, DE Brandenburg Berlin --- ##### This is your role As a Nevis Solution Architect, your job is to help our customers and partners to bring Nevis successfully to production. You act as an advisor, subject-matter expert and delivery partner during the entire lifecycle of a Nevis setup and guide our customers and partners from concept to production and beyond. As a hands-on technology enthusiast, you understand computer networks and protocols, are an expert on Identity and Access Management solutions and like to occasionally dive into code. Put simply: When partners and customers request our help to successfully integrate Nevis products into their environment, you’re the one they go to. **Base location:** Preferably in Berlin or Vienna. You are expected to reside at the location you are applying for. **In your daily work, you will....** * Be a Nevis subject-matter expert and the go-to authority for delivering Nevis solutions after you have learnt our product portfolio * Work with customers and partners to understand their requirements and align those with Nevis' capabilities. * Architect the integration of Nevis solutions that follow industry best practices and address the customer's needs. * Review architectures and use cases of Nevis solutions for our customers and partners. * Provide input and feedback to Engineering and Product Management based on your real-life experience. * In collaboration with Engineering, build reusable architecture and implementation blueprints for standard use cases and deployment types. * Build reusable material that can be shared with the Nevis community. This may include things like blogs, best practice guidelines, white-papers or code templates. * Exchange knowledge with Pre-Sales Consultants and other Nevis professionals ##### This is you ###### For this position, you ideally have... * Master or Bachelor’s **Degree** in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering discipline * 2-4 years of solid experience working as a Software Engineer, Consultant, Software Architect or similar * Proven experience with at least one of the following development languages or technologies: **Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, Spring Boot, .NET Core, Android/iOS native development** * Experience with writing complex technical reports, analysis, and drawings * **Communication skills in German as a mother tongue or at least C1+** * Strong verbal and written communication skills in English **It would be an advantage if you have:** * Some experience as a Solutions Architect or interest in becoming a Solutions Architect at Nevis * Experience in a customer-facing role is a plus * Good understanding of computer networks including load balancers, web application firewalls, DNS, HTTPS, SSL/TLS * Good understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies and protocols such as OAuth2, Open ID Connect, SAML2, LDAP * Understanding of SQL database systems (Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL), e.g. SQL statements, triggers, connection pools, cluster setups * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services ##### Why us?
