## Job Description
As a Software Engineer in the R&D department, you will be part of an interdisciplinary and highly skilled team. You will be responsible for the development, commissioning and testing of electronic assemblies for medical devices as well as the programming of microcontroller-based systems in compliance with applicable standards.
Your responsibilities include supporting ongoing development projects, planning and coordinating technical tasks and ensuring a smooth transfer of products into production. You will collaborate closely with various departments and external partners to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely project completion.
Typical areas of your responsibility are:
* Application development for our neuromonitors and neurostimulators from data acquisition and processing of physiological signals to the user interface
* Develop and maintain software solutions using NI LabVIEW
* Planning and documentation of all steps of the software development process
* Development of interfaces in the context of device combinations and to hospital information systems
* Collaboration on new device and user interface concepts and the evaluation of customer requirements
* Planning of software architectures
* Implementation of new technologies
## Qualifications
* Completed studies in computer science or a scientific field or completed training as an IT specialist
* Several years software development experience in LabVIEW and its tools
* Good experience in LabVIEW Object Oriented Programming is a plus
* Knowledge of at least one other programming language (C++, C#, Python, JAVA etc.)
