Then you should read on! ##### Main information * **remote option:** you decide - 100% remote (Germany or EU-wide), top office in Cologne/Berlin or a combination of both * **Start:** Immediately (flexible start) * **Scope:** full time * **Areas of Responsibility:** Data * **Current Tech Stack that we use:** python, PostgreSQL, kubernetes, grafana, metabase, Segment, Amplitude, pulumi, AWS ##### For this we need you * You will play a critical role in implementing robust data capabilities around our product, enabling data-driven insights and enhancing the overall user experience. * You will do not only the typical Data Engineering work but build data experiences directly for our users. * You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data systems, ensuring high-quality data collection, processing, analysis, and experiences. * You will improve our data and software engineering practices and introduce new ones. …Still exciting? Continue here! ##### Your mission * You build data experiences that land directly in the hands of our users. This includes our data features like Prematch Facts, Fantasy Points, Market Value, Newsfeed, and many more. * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems for efficient data collection, storage, and processing. * Ensure data quality through rigorous checks, validation, and cleansing techniques. * Stay updated on emerging data engineering technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of our data stack, architecture and infrastructure. * Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, performance bottlenecks, and anomalies. ##### What do you need * Experience in development with Python. * Deep passion for data quality. * Experience with databases (especially SQL) and data modeling. * Familiarity with web scraping techniques and tools. * You have your residence within the EU. * You have very good language skills in English (German skills are not required). ##### Advantage but not a must * Knowledge about recommender systems. * Experience with all tools in our Tech Stack ##### Why us? * Be one of the first to make Prematch great * A salary that stands up to the competition * Shares (VSOP) for employees - you participate directly in success * Flexible work culture, with all remote options * You will be equipped with suitable IT by us & the choice is yours: PC or Mac * Flexible working hours and at least 25 days of vacation per year * Regular team events and offsites
