Requisition Number: 22748 Required Travel: 26 - 50% Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried/Exempt Anticipated Salary Range: $94,604.00 - $98,000.00 Security Clearance: Secret Level of Experience: Mid HI ## Summary HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a Software Developer SME to support a U.S. government client at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. This role focuses on providing expert-level technical support and strategic insight for the Enterprise Protection Risk Management (EPRM) program. Responsibilities include aligning customer needs with system capabilities, evaluating potential risks, and enhancing efficiency through streamlined processes and theater-wide trend analysis. The developer will also play a key role in creating a structured Working Group program by consolidating multiple groups into a unified framework that fulfills all USAFE-AFAFRICA requirements. Their work ensures consistency and coherence in information delivery, empowering the government customer to make well-informed decisions in response to potential threats. ## What You Will Do * Facilitate the integration and implementation of the EPRM program * Ensure alignment with customer requirements and vulnerability assessments. * Assist in streamlining processes for effective risk management. * Develop and implement a robust program of record for trend analysis. * Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and patterns. * Provide actionable insights to enhance security measures and decision-making processes. * Interface with Government customers, particularly Antiterrorism sections, to develop a system of record that meets the goals of the EPRM. * Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all stakeholders. * Develop and manage a consolidated Working Group program to ensure all requirements for USAFE-AFAFRICA are met. * Provide training and knowledge transfer to Government staff on the EPRM and trend analysis methodologies. * Ensure the Government customer has the knowledge and tools necessary to act on identified threats. ## What We Are Looking For * 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. * Demonstrated experience as a software developer providing program and project management support, working with a team to maintain programmatic, customer engagement, requirements analysis and decomposition of work. * Proficiency in programming languages: Strong experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, C#, Ruby, or Go. * Database Management: Experience with both relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). * Software Development Tools: Familiarity with development tools (IDEs, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, etc.). * Web Technologies: Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django, Flask) and web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS). * Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI ## Preferred: Bonus Points For... * Master’s degree in a related field. * 10+ years of professional experience in software development, including designing, developing, and deploying applications. * Demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral concerning technical material and explaining these aspects to non-technical customers. * Flexible with proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. # LI-NM1 **Why HII** We build the world’s most powerful, survivable naval ships and defense technology solutions that safeguard our seas, sky, land, space and cyber.
